We arrived at 8.15 at the swan a 14th century public house with a vast history all documented, this is believed the oldest standing building in the area then the others arrived not long after.We met John a psychic artist who was busy drawing a picture of an elderly gent dressed in what can only be described as a Chelsea pensioners uniform red in colour. In the small bar area, This was later confirmed by the land lord who had seen the figure many times . At about 10pm we started to move into the function room . We called out to anyone that was with us this evening and very soon got responses Bumps bangs and very strange noises .the ghost box picked up some intresting facts That were later confirmed by the landlord names dates ect .also the temperature meters were acting strange going from hot to cold on command some 10 degree diffrences . The medium john picked up a young girl in this room who seemed fascinated as to what we were doing in the building and gave us all a fascinating story who she was and what she was looking for . Photos were taken by the group and we had quite a few strange things happen on camera 1 being a strange black mass that seemed to come and go in and out of the bottom area of the function room. Then we made our way into the basement area were we heard noises bumps bangs and things being thrown all over the place that sounded like stones but we could not find any such objects .one of the team Tim captured some strange misty shadows on video and we all heard some 1 banging in the room above us and foot steps on a wooden floor .no one was in the room and we went to investigate the area .when we arrived in this area we were amazed to find this was a carpeted area and not bare floorboards . this was the sports bar and was the exclusive area were eric Bristow shows off his collection .we tried to simulate the noises to the team below but nothing could produce the same sounds .then the team below heard them again walking on floorboards above them we were on a carpeted area and stood still . We stopped for a break and discussed our findings looked through our evidence and decided then to go upstairs into the living quarters . (report in this area to follow) by this time it was getting quite late and we hadn’t done half the rooms and at 3.15 we all met back up into the bar area to discuss with the land lord our findings . At approx 4am we decided to call it a night . This public house warrants further investigations and the landlord welcomed us back to return and finish off our investigation there . |
